Melissa has a double major with honours degree in Sociology and Kinesiology from York University and has completed her 2200-hour massage therapy program with honours at Mount Royal University. She has a lot of experience with high level athletics seeing as she played for the varsity volleyball program for York University, and currently plays beach volleyball with the NBVL. She has also been a personal trainer for over 10 years and is passionate about helping people to feel like their strongest, healthiest, and best selves.
Melissa’s style of massage incorporates a combination of relaxation and therapeutic techniques, specializing in sports/deep tissue massage, myofascial techniques, and trigger point therapy. When Melissa isn’t working, you can find her playing beach volleyball, at the gym, or reading by the river.
