Laurie holds a PhD in clinical research with a focus in myofascial dysfunction. She is a biomechanical kinesiologist (M. Kin.) and an honours graduate of the 2200 hour massage therapy program at Mount Royal University. She is an advanced orthopedic muscle therapist and specializes in kinesthetic therapeutic massage, pre/post surgical treatments, sport massage, deep tissue, trigger point, and rehabilitation.
She founded the Calgary Muscle and Soft Tissue Clinic in June of 2018. Laurie, is part of the medical team for the Calgary Stampeders, and has previously worked with the Calgary Roughnecks and Hitmen.
Laurie is a member of the Massage Therapy teaching faculty at Mount Royal University and an active member in good standing with the Canadian Massage & Manual Osteopathic Therapists Association.
