Originally from Ontario, Caitlyn completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at University of Guelph and a Diploma of Health and Fitness Promotion from The Humber College of Technology & Advanced Learning. She moved to Alberta in 2019, to take advantage of what Western Canada has to offer for all things outdoors. Currently, Caitlyn is completing her Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy Program and will graduate in October 2022.
Caitlyn has been involved in high level sport from a young age in various capacities. Specifically, earning many opportunities to compete Nationally and Internationally in Figure Skating. Taking this passion for sport performance and rehabilitation this led her to complete an undergraduate degree to pursue a career in strength & conditioning coaching as well as being an accomplished Kinesiologist working in clinical and gym based settings. She specializes in therapeutic, deep tissue, myofascial release, sports, pre-post surgical and rehabilitative therapies. Caitlyn’s practice is focused on providing a well rounded treatment plan that involves not only manual therapy but provides the optimal corrective exercises and education for her patients to achieve their health and fitness goals. In the future she is planning to take more courses to increase her knowledge base on myofascial release techniques.
Outside of her passion for strength & conditioning and massage therapy. Caitlyn can be found hiking, backcountry camping, snowboarding or olympic weightlifting. She is an animal lover, with a 3 year old rescued mastiff/staffordshire terrier mix and a 2 year old rescued bunny at home it is never a dull moment. Caitlyn can’t wait to meet you!
